Made offers an authentic worship experience for the queer christian community. A combination of original music and re-written hymns, it allows for the wrestling with God and our experiences that mainstream worship does not provide us. It’s not afraid to be vulnerable, raw, and even a little crass. Why? Because that’s how our lives are. Part One follows in the footsteps of many of the Biblical authors airing their grievances and frustrations with God. So much of the queer christian experience is marred with hurt, anger, frustration, and confusion, and yet the church at large asks us to quietly sweep it under the rug. Made Part One explores and expresses many of those feelings without holding back, truly wrestling with God, while validating and affirming our pan and frustration. It takes listeners on a progression from angst and anger at God, to acceptance of who we are, knowing that’s the way we are made.
