Different Kind of Merry is not a traditional Christmas album. An embrace of both Christmas and queerness, Nick made the Christmas album he, and other young queer persons, needed growing up. With original music, traditional carols, and re-written classics, it highlights the joy of Christmas, while still not being afraid to confront the harder topics like uncomfortable family gatherings.  It’s inclusive, a lil’ bit naughty, but most of all a lot of fun.
